11 weeks worth of fashion double page spreads with my own ideas, which gave me the best insight into the industry yet.
- Negotiated themes for the weekly fashion pages.
- Put the outfits together with key discussion from local and online stores.
- Styled the models on the shoots.
- Assisted with technical aspects such as lighting and location.
- Choose the best shots for the newspaper.
- Wrote all copy.
All of my work was printed and published online; and highly praised by the Editorial team.

I think I have a bad procrastination problem, and at the moment, it centers around online window shopping (i.e., looking but not buying...sometimes).
The Traced Twirls Anthropologie dress in the above image is what's wasting all my time right now. It would be nice to bring a pop of color in with a flower clip or two, but I would probably just make my own flower hair clip from some favorite fabric. I also threw in the make-your-own leather bow necklace, along with a bunch of other items I already own. The possibilities are endless and this "no more personal spending" July is going to kill me (thankfully, the impulse-purchasing-gods have removed the teal dress off the shelves, for my own safety).

Inspired by the WW2 campaign, the event offered visitors an alternative way to get their fashion fix. A selection of many fantastic Oxfam pieces were strutted up the catwalk and then auctioned off. There was also a customising corner, swap shop and many stalls - something for everyone.

It has been plagued by political unrest for most of its history and natural disasters frequently sweep the nation. Over 80 per cent of the population lives below the poverty line & literacy rates stand at just 52 per cent.
