Image by Australian National Maritime Museum on The Commons
This photo is part of the Australian National Maritime Museum’s William J Hall collection and features a slightly damaged inscription along the top in which the word 'Harrison' is visible. The Hall collection provides an important pictorial record of recreational boating in Sydney Harbour, from the 1890s to the 1930s – from large racing and cruising yachts, to the many and varied skiffs jostling on the harbour, to the new phenomenon of motor boating in the early twentieth century. The collection also includes studio portraits and images of the many spectators and crowds who followed the sailing races.

Run to the Sun is a swimsuit and women's fashion store in Anchorage, Alaska. As part of the annual Women's Show in April 2009, Run to the Sun had a fashion show. One of the models invited me to attend to shoot the event. It was pretty cool - great afternoon, the only drawback was the lighting in the Sullivan Arena wasn't very good. I met several of the models afterward and hope to shoot with them in the future.
